In the winter of 1994, Valdr created the project HEL. In 1997 he met Skaldir, who from there on supported
him.
The first CD "Orloeg " was released in in 1999.
2004 the EP "Pagan Midgard Art " was released as 10”.
"Falland Vörandi "followed in 2005.
Two years later, HEL went down a very different path with "Tristheim." It wasn't until 2012 that there was another album called "Das Atmen der Erde"

I like to delve into discographies, and I like to start at random points - basically ramming my shovel into the ground with a self-confident attitude while keeping a straight face. Floors of Heaven shalt mark my descent into Ultha's discography, and it makes for a rocksolid (digging-metaphor pun intended?) start. These are two tracks filled with bleak, dystopian sentiment; a schizophrenic hopelessness manifesto: gelid and slashing on the one hand, grinding and gruelling on the other. Solid!
